eKadence and Inflexion Selected to Support California’s Secondary School Redesign Pilot

Release Date: 4/23/2026

The eKadence Learning Foundation and Inflexion have been selected by the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) to support the state’s Secondary School Redesign Pilot, a flagship effort focused on advancing equitable, student-centered secondary education across California.

Together, eKadence and Inflexion bring a powerful combination of AI-enabled infrastructure, decades of technology and system design expertise, and statewide implementation experience to districts already leading meaningful secondary redesign. Their joint work supports coherence across leadership, instruction, assessment, and student supports; helping districts move from isolated initiatives to durable, systemwide change.

“Redesign at this scale requires modern technology that creates clarity, alignment, and real-time learning across the system,” said Dang Vu, Executive Director of eKadence. “This partnership reflects California’s commitment to building scalable, user-centered systems that make deeper learning, belonging, and readiness visible and actionable.”
“Technology matters most when it strengthens—not replaces—the human work of teaching and leadership,” said Dr. Matt Coleman, CEO of Inflexion. “This effort is about building the conditions for great schools to thrive and sustain impact.”

The pilot includes districts and demonstration sites across California, including Anaheim Union, Cajon Valley, Lynwood, Riverbank, Wheatland, and Winters, each already engaged in redesign work grounded in deeper learning, community partnership, and whole-child outcomes.
