eKadence Learning Foundation was proud to have a strong presence at the Student and Community Voice AI Summit, where our partner districts took center stage to share how they are using artificial intelligence to transform teaching and learning. connections, and expand what’s possible in today’s classrooms.

These educators highlighted real-world applications that elevate student voice, strengthen community connections, and expand what’s possible in today’s classrooms.

At the invite-only summit, AUHSD teacher Dr. Tyler Sherman led a session titled “AI as a Thought Partner: Building Leadership, Equity, and Efficiency in Public Education.” He shared how his district is using the eKadence to integrate AI into everyday teaching and learning–moving AI beyond isolated pilots into the daily workflows of teachers and students.

Through our collaboration with Get Lit, educators used the eKadence platform to facilitate student submissions, foster meaningful dialogue, and elevate student voices—ensuring equitable access to creative expression and an inspiring experience for all participants.

eKadence and Get Lit are empowering LA students and teachers through poetry and creative expression. Participants submit poems on Get Lit’s Uni(verse) platform, then share and vote through eKadence. Ten winners—five chosen by peers and five by artists—will be featured in an anthology and regional event.
